Conducted outreach efforts through letter writing, phone calls, meetings, office visits, etc. and built relationships with foundations, prospective supporters,
corporations, government agencies, local school system, community organizations, and other potential funding sources.
Compiled both internal and external data including finance, attendance, national test scores, staff retention, student enrollment, demographics, etc; prepared
reports for all sources of revenue.
Communicated with and reported pertinent information to staff members, supporters, board members, partner organizations and guests via phone, letters, and
in-person.
Coordinated student fundraisers and other grass-roots development activities.
Specific Responsibilities (P.E. Teacher):
Developed physical education standards for KIPP Ujima Village Academy in accordance with National Physical Education standards.
Developed year-long plan, unit plans, and daily lesson plans.
Taught each student to achieve physical education standards required for his/her grade level.
