Dear Lord,
Thank You for teaching us to be generous
as You have been with us. Thank You for
showing us that all we are and have are
gifts from You.
Lord, help us to understand that these
gifts from you are meant to be shared.
Show us the joys of generosity.
Help us to understand that others, perhaps unknown to us, depend
on us for help. Remind us that our world, our local church and our
parishes need “Good Samaritans” and Good Stewards to heal the
wounds of our times.
Make us gifts to others in Your name so that we can be an
everlasting gift to You. Amen.

Prayer for Vocations

Lord Jesus Christ who deigned to share with men the work of Your
apostolate, inspire the hearts of our Caribbean youth with the desire of
labouring for You and the extension of Your Kingdom.
Eternal High Priest, inspire our youth with the call of Your altar. May
Your love too, make many men and women eager to devote themselves
to working for You and for souls in the Religious Life.
May the intercession of Mary and Joseph obtain for us that parents may
be proud to give their children to Your service and that through a great
increase in local vocations, the One Holy Catholic Church may be en-
riched and secured here in St. Lucia, in the Caribbean and in the world.
Amen.
O Mary, Queen of the Clergy, pray for us; obtain for us many Holy
Priests and Religious.
