Present different pictures of the common agricultural products of Pinabacdao.

1. Where do we commonly find these products?


2. What makes our town known for these products?
B. Establishing a purpose for the lesson
Present a picture of a rice field and a farm land to the class.
1. What are the different organisms that we could find in a rice field? How about in a farm
land?
2. Which of these organisms are capable of making their own food? Which are not?
3. How do the plants make their own food? How about the rest of the organisms, where do
they get their food and energy?
C. Presenting examples/instances of the new lesson
Present an illustration of series of organisms involve in an energy flow.

1. Which organisms provide energy to the grasshopper, frog, and eagle?


2. What is the main source of energy in the illustration?

1. Let the students work with their seatmate and let them define the following words using
their Learning Modules and give their own example organisms they commonly see in their
community.
