*About Ruia College*
Ramnarian Ruia Autonomous College has the reputation of being one of the finest
institutions of higher learning in the country. Its outstanding performance in the field of
curricular and co-curricular activities has considerably enhanced itsprestige. In the last 79
years Ruia has crossed several milestones and produced a galaxy of illustrious alumni.
Ramnarian Ruia Autonomous College was recently conferred with an autonomous status in
the month of July 2017 by the University of Mumbai and University Grants Commission. The
motto of our college is “education for all”
*About DDU Kaushal*
The government of India through its Deen Dayal Upadhay centres for knowledge acquisition
and up gradation of skilled Human Abilities and Livelihood has established Kaushal Centres
with specific focus on vocational education. At the DDU KAUSHAL Kendra at Ruia college
students are trained to develop hands-on skills that will significantly boost their industrial
acceptability and employability.
*About TTM*
B.voc Tourism and Travel Management course has started 3 years ago in Ramnarain Ruia
Autonomous College. This is a vocational course and Tourism includes a study of tourism
management, tourism development, tourism marketing and focuses on various aspects of
tourism industry. The Course is conducted in association with leading tourism organizations
in India who are actively involved in curriculum development and student training.
*About Yatra La Vista*
B.voc Tourism and travel management Dept. of Ramnarian Ruia Autonomous college after
successfully organizing Yatra La Vista for the past 3 years, this year, we come up with a fun
loving and one of the most interesting theme i.e. :- *Ticket to Bollywood* .This theme is
based on Bollywood Tourism. We are very grateful to see the whole TTM family over here
and it's our pleasure to welcome you all to this wonderful program.

Aao shuru kare safarnama.
Safarnama is a competition where participants were asked to prepare a Vlog on the
destination in or Mumbai given by us. The vlog should contain description of the place, the
accessibility, speciality, and give description about the movie or scene shot there. And the
maximum limit was 7 mins.The Vlog were asked to be submitted by 8 January 2019. From
all the entries 5 Vlogs we're shortlisted. The shortlisted ones would be showcased now in
front of you'll and our Jury for this competition will decide the winners. There will be 3
winners and the members of jury for safarnama are our very own aluminis who now are
industry professionals.

Greetings one and all present over here. On the behalf of Ruia B.voc TTM we are your host
for the Event Aaditya Pawar and me Vaibhavi kondhalkar. We extend a very warm welcome
you all in our last Segment which is “Khoj jagah ki becho hunar Se”.
Aditya: - By the way yeh sab thik hain par yeh asal mein hain kya...Khoj jagah ki becho hunar
Se yeh sab kya Columbus hainkya?? ki travel agents?? Who all they are?
Vaibhavi: - Areeeee….they all are our participants and today they all are going to showcase
their talent to sell the destination….they can dance act or play a skit but they have to sell
the Bollywood destination
Aditya :- Pleasedon’t call them participant they are real Kalakars…..asan hain kya Bollywood
destination bechna wo bhi 7 min mein ….wo bhi hamare judges ko…..
Vaibhavi: - And there will be 3 winners and the judges of this event are (job description of
judges and short info) judges’ decision will be final.
Aditya: - now don’t waste the time ….ready steady go…… and our first participant is ….

Good afternoon to all the dignitaries present on the dice, off the dice, to all faculty and all
the students. I regard it is as an honour and privilege to extend a vote of thanks on this
momentous occasion. Our chief guest [name] is a man/woman of highest stature &
Sir/madam; it is an honour to have you here. Your presence alone is motivating for all of us
and your intellectual speech is very enlightening to all the students. Sir/ma'am, we cannot
thank you enough for your gracious presence today. Thank you sir/ma'am!
Our principle [name] is the prime example of the proverb “Where there is a will, there is a
way”. There is a lot that the students can learn from you. Thank you very much for gracing
with your presence and for holding everything together and for spending your valuable
time with us.
I would also like to take this opportunity to place on record our hearty thanks to our very
own dynamic duo, our head of department Ms. Amrita Gokhale and Ms.Urmi Paralikar!
Thank you so much both of you, for the perfect logistic support and guidance you have
extended to all of us.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, an event like this cannot happen overnight. The wheels start
rolling weeks ago. It requires planning and a bird’s eye for details, we have been fortunate
enough to be backed by a team of very motivated and dedicated professors and students,
who know their job and are result oriented. I cannot thank all the students enough for their
involvement and their willingness to take on the completion of tasks beyond their comfort
zones! I would also like to thank the co-ordinators, team leaders and volunteers.
Finally, the wonderful audience who have turned up in such overwhelming numbers. We
thank you very much for your patience and cooperation and for taking time from your
respective schedules to grace this occasion.
I extend my thanks to all the sponsors for helping us making this event a great success
thank you so much EVERYONE! It’s been a pleasure.
