The HumSS 12-12 community will be having an event that will tackle the breaking of

individuality of the students and start to socialize with other people to build not just a bond

but also a common good as well as improving the self to become a good and effective

leader. This event entitled 'CampUS: Understanding the Self' will focus only in Grade 11

HumSS students that after a few set of observations, the program and planning will

originally designed for them.

Meanwhile, when the committees were planning about how the program will run, the

misunderstanding between committees suddenly arises that brought tension to each and

everyone in the classroom. HumSS 12-12 wants to help to build the community that is

lacking while their own community is not strong enough to handle their own people, to

make a desirable decision. The lack of their communication and democracy might bring

fall to themselves or worse to their common goal.

Relating the ‘Forms of Community Action’ to the said event will help HumSS 12-12 not

just to understand each one of them but to execute the event effectively.
COMMON CONTEXT

Sharing the same classroom and being together in a section can be the common

context of the HumSS 12-12. This should be a great plus because there is a bond if not

that strong and intimate, at least they already shared a common interests, hobbies, and

stories that can be use as one of the keys to meet the common goal.

COMMON EXPERIENCE

Common experience increases the interactions that improves a bond that will

surely last longer as expected to be. A community that has a common experience tends

to have a common understanding as the people are going through the same phase in a

community. If HumSS 12-12 starts to share and to remenisce their own experiences, this

will help them to have a common understanding which leads to solve the

misunderstanding issue.

COMMON UNDERSTANDING

As the common understanding penetrates effectively to the people of HumSS 12-

12 community, they can solve the issues and problems that affects their decisions that

cause the malfunction the community. Common understanding is one of the important

key to the community to perform well.

ACCEPTABLE STANDARD

Everyone has a set of standards. These standards may cause trouble if not filter

effectively especially in a community. HumSS 12-12 having these idealistic standards

obviously became one of the greatest factors why the issues and problems suddenly

occur. The community should have these acceptable standards (which are well-discussed

and filtered) so that everyone is able to do it without any problem aiming it.

ACTIONS THAT IS ACCEPTABLE TO THE COMMUNITY

Most importantly in reaching a common goal is the action that community will take.

Everyone has their own functions, has their own work to be done effectively. In Ecological

perspective of a community, a community is like a cell wherein every each one the parts

should function properly. If one of the parts fail to function, it affects the whole community.

Sooner, the community will die.

HumSS 12-12 should should take actions that is acceptable for each member. No

one should perform what they want. If they did that, the community will end anytime soon.

It may lose its compactability, the bond that has been build. To prevent this, each one of

the member must perform their assigned task/s to work as one. It breaks individuality,

also, it strengthens bond and improves socialization as they performing together to reach

that common goal.
