Introduction:

We are going to present a small

summary about Twitter, Facebook,

Hi5, Disdribution list, Portofolio,

Chat(messager in facebook),

Blogger From e-mail to Facebook.

In this summary we put our own

opinios and ideas about them.

It’s users to send and read other users' messages called tweets. Tweets are

text-based posts of up to 140 characters displayed on the user's profile

page.

All users can send and receive tweets via the Twitter website, compatible

external applications (such as for smartphones), or by Short Message

Service (SMS) available in certain countries

Finances

Twitter raised over US$57 million from venture capitalist growth

funding, although exact numbers are not publicly disclosed.

Outages

The Twitter fail whale error message.

When Twitter experiences an outage, users see the "fail whale" error
message image created by Yiying Lu,[68] illustrating several red birds using
a net to hoist a whale from the ocean captioned "Too many tweets! Please
wait a moment and try again."[69]

Twitter had approximately 98% uptime in 2007 (or about six full days of

downtime).[70] The downtime was particularly noticeable during events

popular with the technology industry such as the 2008 Macworld

Conference & Expo keynote address

FACEBOOK SITE

Facebook is an online directory that connects people through social

networks.
Facebook site allows students to post their photos and tell about
themselves, chat rooms, and comment boxes.

We can use Facebook site to include notes, and event calendar, too

FOR EXAMPLE:

Our teacher Verito Chicaiza applies one of the online sites such as
Facebook which she connects with us to create or develop works or
opinions about an specific topic.

FROM E-MAIL TO FACEBOOK

What is an e-mail?
Email (or e-mail) is electronic mail that "works" quite like conventional
correspondence.
When you create an email account, you get an email address to which
people "write" to you.
Each email address is unique which means no two people in the world can
have the same email address

Ten Steps to Create an Email

Step 1: Select your topic:

 Decide if you want to build your series around a certain topic or an

audience.

Step 2: Find content to share:

Once you have decided on your topic, find all of the content you have on
the subject.

Step 3: Structure the order of the content to tell a story:

Now that you have all of your potential content in one place, organize it in
a way that tells a story.

Step 4: Figure out what action(s) you want the reader to take.

At the end of the series, you want to have a call to action; what step do you
want the reader to take once they have read your emails?

Step 5: Decide on the timing of the emails:

How often do you want your emails to be delivered? I’ve subscribed to

email series that have delivered content every day, every few days or every
week.

Step 6: Tie the content together:

You don’t want to simply deliver articles one after the other: you want the
story you are telling to be evident.

Step 7: Decide if you want the content to be online or in email only:

 I’ve subscribed to a number of email series, and they have been

delivered in multiple ways:

Email only

Emails that point to PDFs

Emails that point to web pages.

Step 8: Consider adding a “buzz piece” to encourage registration:

Considering this from the other end of the spectrum, when you have a
white paper, eBook or other content that needs a call to action, you can
develop an email series that will take readers through the next steps.

Step 9: Create a dedicated landing page:

If you want your readers to share information from your email series, you
can certainly ask them to forward your emails, but I prefer asking them to
send those who are interested to your registration page so everyone is
starting from the same place.

Step 10: Set up emails in an auto responder:

Of course, the last thing you need to do is to set up your emails with an
auto responder. All email providers are unique, so check with your vendor
for specifics.

Distribution list

Sometimes used for a function of email clients

where lists of email addresses are used to
email everyone on the list at once, so
Distribution list can help you to order
information, contacs.

How to create a distribution list?

We can create it for 3 ways:

How to create it?

 Enter a Display Name – The display name is what will appear in the
"To" field of outgoing e-mails and in the address book
 Enter an E-mail Address
 Press Create All Distribution Lists to create all distribution lists
and click Ok when prompted Add members to your newly created
distribution list(s):
 To add member names to distribution lists go to the Distribution
Lists HostPilot section.
 Hit the name of the distribution list you want to modify
 In the General Tab and under the Members box, press the Modify
button
 Select the mailboxes you want to add to your new distribution list
and click Ok
 Press Save Changes and click Ok when prompted
 Now all e-mails sent to your distribution list address will be
forwarded to the mailboxes you have designated in your distribution
list
Portfolio Definitions

 portfolio contents: the contents of a portfolio, especially when they

represent somebody's creative work

Usage

Today, electronic portfolios are gaining popularity in:

 Schools

 Higher education

 Continuing professional development

 Job applications/professional advertisements

 Therapy groups

 Assessment

 Accreditation

Electronic Portfolio

An electronic portfolio, also known as an e-portfolio or digital portfolio,

is a collection of electronic evidence assembled and managed by a user,
usually on the Web.

Types

 There are three main types of e-portfolios, although they may be

referred to using different terms:

 developmental (e.g., working),

 reflective (e.g., learning), and

 representational (e.g., showcase).

Here's How:

 Create a file folder in which to file and save all professional

documentation (flyers from conferences, test scores, photos,
anything!)

 Visit your nearest office supply store and buy the nicest faux leather
three ring binder they offer.

 Also, buy some plastic non-glare page protectors.

 Sort through the papers and documents you've been saving.

 Begin placing the items into your page protectors in a logical order,
starting with your resume first.

 Continue by adding test scores, training documentation, evaluations,

and lesson plans in the front of your portfolio.

 Include photos of you with students where appropriate.

 Add samples of student work as possible.

 Complete the portfolio with copies all available letters of

recommendation.
Blogger

Blogger is a blog publishing service that allows private or multi-user blogs

with time-stamped entries. It was created by Pyra Labs, which was bought
by Google in 2003. Generally, the blogs are hosted by Google at
subdomains of blogspot.com. Up until May 1, 2010 Blogger allowed users
to publish blogs on other hosts, via ftp. All such blogs had (or still have) to
be moved to Google's own servers, with domains other than blogspot.com
allowed via Custom URLs

Limitations

Blogger has imposed the following limitations on content storage and

bandwidth, per user account[11]:

 Number of blogs = Unlimited

 Size of pages = Individual pages (the main page of a blog or archive
pages) are limited to 1 MB
 Number of labels = 5,000 unique labels per blog, 20 unique labels
per post
 Number of pictures (hyperlinked from user's Picasa Web Album) =
Up to 1 GB of total storage
 Size of pictures = If posted via Blogger Mobile, limited 250 KB per
picture; posted pictures are scaled to 800px[citation needed]
 Team members (those that can write to a blog) = 100

On February 18, 2010,[12] Blogger introduced "auto-pagination", which

limited the number of posts that could be displayed on each page, often
causing the number of posts on the main page to be less than that specified
by the user and leading to a hostile response from some users.
