Expected Outcomes: Safe braking distance depending upon the speed of the vehicles and measures front vehicles distance with the use of
sensors and software.
Energy meter data analysis:
Energy meter data is acquired from Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) enabled meters at 66 / 11kV Substation Feeders, DTRs, High Tension
(HT) Consumers and Selected Low Tension (LT) Consumers at regular intervals or real-time data using on-demand polling. This data will
be used to monitor the distribution parameters, for accurate billing purposes and generate exceptional and Management Information
System (MIS) reports for analysis, decision making, planning, monitoring, and managing the business activities correctly. MDAS – Meter
Data Accusations System, MDM – Meter Data Management System The MDAS deals with acquiring data that will be used by MDM for
Storage, Management and generation of Reports. Sometime meter data is not acquired due to communication problems. The system will
capture, extract, analyze and integrate the data on common data structure from meters of various manufacturers at Substation feeders,
DTRs, HT Consumers, and select LT Consumers. There will be point out un metered energy by energy accounting form data collected from
meters. What Exact Problem is being Solved? : Tool for meter data like value of Voltage, Current, Power factor, frequency, Energy Demand
and use of energy. Tool/System for improvement of quality of power supply and reduce energy loss. Users : Power Distribution Utility
Expected Outcomes : Web
Software:
Smart domestic energy management system:
Every house has energy meter installed, however there is no mechanism or technology available for a programmable system which
monitors and controls the energy usage pattern/trend for a house/building. Therefore, a smart energy management system which would
enable the user to pre-program switching ON/OFF of electrical lamps and appliances based on user’s requirement on
daily/weekly/seasonal basis. A predictive feature in terms of energy-economy saving may also be added. 3. Sample Data Required, if yes,
