Project-based pedagogy Learning

In order to prepare and equip student stakeholder to face the market challenges, it is believed
that comprehensive Project-based learning is powerful experiential learning method that
copious benefits and also is student-centered pedagogy that involves dynamic approach to
learning.

Keeping in view of the above facts, the following Peer-Assessment committee is constituted
having different domain of research expertise to assess the standards & quality of the student
project in the final year thereby enabling, enhancing and enriching the whole ecosystem of
education in HCST.

Guidelines for Assessment

The committee is advised to ensure the following, while assessing the projects and frame &
derive a unique model for evaluation.

(a) Conceptual based guidelines:

1. Projects could be Hardware (Fabricated in-house or outside agencies) / Simulation


based
2. Exploring students projects could be funded through Council of Science & Technology,
U.P. Lucknow
3. Project selection has to be based on real-value problems, societal impacts & Current
Industry needs.
4. Possibilities of project converting to Technological Commercialization & Intellectual
Property Rights.
5. Possibilities of publishing papers in conference papers
6. Explore the possibilities of the project ideas for entrepreneurial / Startup business

(b) Assessment Guidelines:

1. Periodical monitoring of the Projects fortnightly


2. Interaction with Project Advisors on case-to-case basis
3. Discussion with Student group periodically
4. Guidelines for preparing Pre-Project (Synopsis) Reports and submissions
