Our U.T connector is NimCAMAC standard. Many
supplier can provide matching connector.
We advice you to use one of this two :
Supplier: FISCHER

M2M use Micro-D 25 plug standard connector. Gekko system will be able to pulse ultrasound salvo at each
trigger pulse and count each of it. This input is also optocoupled.
Supplier: GLENAIR Your encoder must be able to deliver 10mA on 5V.
Reference: 654-M83513/01-DC • SYNCHRONIZE TWO GEKKO:
Synchro1 and Synchro2 are multipurpose I/O signal used for
M AT C H I N G C A B L E pulse synchronization. These two I/O can be configured as Input
or Output.
Supplier: MOLEX If configured as input, Gekko system « Pulse Repetition
Reference: 83424-9021 Frequency » can be managed be external system.
If configured as output, Gekko system can manage external
system at the same rhythm than his own internal « PRF ».
Synchronization option are not yet accessible in Gekko software.
- If the encoder output is differential this output is the opposite of encoder 1 output.
(needed current 10mA).
Encoder 1 phase A- Encoder 1 phase A negative signal
- If the encoder output is classic one. This signal must be connected to encoder
ground.
Encoder 1 phase B+ Encoder 1 phase B positive signal Connected to the encoder 1 output B (needed current 10mA).
- If the encoder output is differential this output is the opposite of encoder 1 output.
(needed current 10mA).
Encoder 1 phase B- Encoder 1 phase B negative signal
- If the encoder output is classic one. This signal must be connected to encoder
ground.
Encoder 2 phase A+ Encoder 2 phase A positive signal Connected to the encoder 2 output A (needed current 10mA).
- If the encoder output is differential this output is the opposite of encoder 2 output.
(needed current 10mA).
Encoder 2 phase A- Encoder 2 phase A negative signal
- If the encoder output is classic one. This signal must be connected to encoder

(needed current 10mA).
Encoder 2 phase B- Encoder 2 phase B negative signal
- If the encoder output is classic one. This signal must be connected to encoder
ground.
Encoder 3 phase A+ Encoder 3 phase A positive signal Connected to the encoder 3 output A (needed current 10mA).
- If the encoder output is differencial this output is the opposite of encoder 3 output.
(needed current 10mA).
Encoder 3 phase A- Encoder 3 phase A negative signal
- If the encoder output is classic one. This signal must be connected to encoder
ground.
Encoder 3 phase B+ Encoder 2 phase B positive signal Connected to the encoder 3 output B (needed current 10mA).

(needed current 10mA).
Encoder 3 phase B- Encoder 2 phase B negative signal
- If the encoder output is classic one. This signal must be connected to encoder
ground.
This input is used if you want to manage ultrasound pulse salve timing with an
External Trigger+ Trigger positive signal external system. External system must generate 5V pulse signal. The output current
must be 10mA.
- If the external system who generate trigger signal have differencial output. You
need to connect negative output to « Gekko External Trigger- »
External Trigger+ Trigger negative signal
- If the external system who generate trigger signal have classic output. You need
to « Gekko External Trigger- » to external system ground.
DC5V +5V power supply This power supply can be used to power the user encoder ( 2A max.)
GND GEKKO ground Gekko ground must be connected to encoder or external system ground.

(12) CLEANING
• Maintenance activities explained below allow you to maintain the good condition and good working of the machine. GEKKO requires little
maintenance. This chapter covers maintenance preventive and cleaning of the device.
• External surfaces of Gekko, that is to say the housing, protector of the LCD screen can be cleaned when it is necessary. This section describes
the procedures for proper cleaning the device. Make sure the unit is closed, the power cord is disconnected and the batteries are removed.
• Disconnect all cables and connectors and check that the protectors rubber are closed on all external GEKKO port. Make sure that the battery
compartment cover is securely closed. To restore the original appearance of the unit, clean the housing with a soft cloth. To remove stubborn
stains, use a damp cloth with a solution mild soap. Do not use abrasives or strong solvents which could damage the finish. Once you have
removed the protective connectors, make sure they are dry before connecting anything else. If the connectors are wet, dry it with a soft dry
cloth or let them air dry.
• Never use abrasives or strong solvents to clean the GEKKO screen. Clean with a damp cloth and washer fluid. If you have no washer fluid, use
a standard glass cleaner. If appropriate, use a soft brush to remove paper towel waste.
