Resumen
Abstract
Research in the context of postgraduate studies has as its ultimate goal the
generation of products that contribute to improving the quality of life of the
members of our society. This investigative process is based on the
transformation of knowledge by the new researcher and requires the
intervention of a well-prepared teacher, who gathers the necessary skills and
abilities to resignify the preexisting knowledge, establish an empathic
communication, promoting activities within a climate of participation and
group construction of knowledge and efficiently guide the student along the
path of research, in other words, that is a Tutor. Therefore, this research is
located in the study of the Mediation of Knowledge in the University context;
as an epistemic position, the Interpretative, qualitative paradigm is assumed,
with a phenomenological focus and anchored in the hermeneutical method,
supported by a field study. In this case four (4) informants were selected, all
involved in the research process of the postgraduate studies. As a reflexive
contribution, I pose that the studies of knowledge mediation follow an
existential and pedagogical guideline in the process of consolidation in the
practice of research, because at the present time, the tutor-tutored
relationship is not limited to just showing the road, but it is a process of
participation, relationship and complement, assuming respect and openness
to the application of a considerable set of academic and cultural knowledge,
which make up much of the human heritage of our university community.
