Rationale

★ Elevate Trust is a youth leadership and capacity building foundation development which seeks
to; create youth leadership programs,facilitate youth development in innovation,
entrepreneurship and career development.
★ It is based on three pillars Inspire, Innovate and Enterprise and our motto is “science pays”. The
programs focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education and
careers, research, innovations and entrepreneurship.
★ Elevate Trust aims at engaging more females to make progress towards achieving gender parity
in STEM related fields through the STEMfem Network and aims to drive sustainable economic
growth, through STEM innovation and entrepreneurship through the SciTechInc Lab.
★ These projects aim to assist in achieving the UN’s sustainable development goals on “Quality
education”, “Gender equality” and “Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure”.
Our Objectives

★ To provide educational support to tertiary STEM students and sustain their interest in related fields
after completion of studies.
★ To create a platform where innovative ideas are transformed into tangible business opportunities and
socio-economic problem solutions.
★ To develop innovation, leadership and entrepreneurship skills amongst the youth.
★ To provide lab space that promotes innovation, entrepreneurship and research to the youth.
★ To provide a networking platform among women scientists and female STEM students.
★ To instill a culture of research, critical thinking and innovation.
★ To develop solutions to STEM related challenges within the commercial sector through innovation.
PROJECTS
Innovators Hub Club
★ IHC is a club which assists in
increasing high school tertiary
students’ interest in STEM subjects
through awareness about career
options, development of STEM related
businesses and STEM
socio-economic problem solving.
★ Since March 2018 we have launched
over 50 innovators hub clubs across
high schools in Zimbabwe and in 3
Tertiary institutions. (MSU, NUST, UZ)
Science and
Technology
Incubator Lab
★ SciTechInc is a platform for nurturing
scientists who are interested in
innovation and entrepreneurship.
★ The lab will assist in the development
and encouragement of problem
solving skills among young innovators
from a community level up to national
and international level under the
mentorship and coaching of
experienced industry figures.
★ SciTechInc is designed to help
scientists commercialize their
innovative research ideas.
SciTechInc covers a range of STEM
disciplines with a bias towards
bio-innovations.
StemFem Network
★ The STEMfem Network is a platform
for capacity building, networking and
nurturing of females in the field
of STEM.
★ Its main goal is to improve the
interaction of higher and tertiary
education female students in STEM
with the women in industry to better
prepare female students to enter the
male dominated industry thus
creating a network of women in
science from grassroots to Corporate
level.
