Description

RCI-01059 Corrosion Inhibitor is a strongly cationic, highly surface active multi-purpose corrosion inhibitor which
can effectively control corrosion caused by hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide. It is also effective in the presence
of small amounts of oxygen.

Uses

RCI-01059 Corrosion Inhibitor has been designed to function as a corrosion inhibitor and surfactant for water
injection systems, as well as a corrosion inhibitor for packer fluids and hydrostatic test fluids. RCI-01059 Corrosion
Inhibitor will also inhibit the swelling of water sensitive clays.

Application

RCI-01059 Corrosion Inhibitor can be injected continuously into a water injection system at a rate of 12 to 60 ppm
or it can be added to packer fluid at a rate of ½% to 1% of the fluid volume. For use as a hydrostatic test fluid
inhibitor, RCI-01059 Corrosion Inhibitor can be injected at a rate of 500 to 3,500 ppm dependent on conditions.
