With reference to advertisement No.QUEST/(Coord&M)/05 dated 11.01.2019 regarding “Vacancy
Announcement” in Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science & Technology, Nawabshah published in
the daily Kawish on 15.01.2019, the following posts are added / required and be treated as a part of the earlier
advertisement.

Post Pay Scale Minimum Qualification and Experience

Executive Engineer BPS-18 Qualification: BE (Civil) preferably in first class or equivalent qualifications from a
(38350-2870-95750) HEC recognized University.

Experience: 6 years professional experience in design and construction of RCC

buildings and structures, roads, water supply and sanitary works in post equivalent
to BPS-17 and above in Project Directorate or Engineering Department of an
autonomous organization, firm of repute, Government or a University.
Assistant Engineer BPS-17 Qualification: BE (Civil) preferably in first class or equivalent qualifications from a
(30370-2300-76370) HEC recognized University.

Experience: one year professional experience in design and construction of RCC

buildings and structures, roads, water supply and sanitary works preferably in
Project Directorate or Engineering Department of an autonomous organization, firm
of repute, Government or a University.
Network Engineer BPS-17 Qualification & Experience: First Class Masters Degree in Computer Science
(30370-2300-76370) (M.Sc./MCS) or BCS/BCE or BS/BE (ES/CS)(4 years degree) or equivalent from
HEC recognized University with 2 years related experience, well versed with the
functionality and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN, VPN, full Microsoft OS series
(Internet security & acceleration server, exchange server, etc), Linux, Unix,
installation/configuration or routers, switches and proxy setups, etc. Ability and
motivation to learn new technologies quickly and with minimum support and
guidance, effective communication skills. Certain degree of creativity and latitude
is required.

Assistant Registrar BPS-17 Qualification: M.A/ M.Sc./ B.E. preferably in First Class, or equivalent
(30370-2300-76370) qualifications from a HEC recognized University

Experience: 4 years teaching and/ or administrative experience.

LAN Maintenance BPS-11 Qualification & Experience: BE(CS) / (BS (IT/CS) with one-year relevant
Technician (12570-880-38970) experience.
OR
Three years (post matriculation) Diploma in related technology from a Government
Polytechnic College with 4 years experience in the relevant field.
Preference will be given to BE holders in relevant field with one year experience in
relevant field.
