Australian Embassy Indonesia, why you are interested in the role and how your skills, knowledge, experience and qualifications are
applicable to the role.

Success for me is about happiness. Life must be balanced between love, art, and work. I remembered when I was
falling in love with someone. Her name is Maria Glushko. We met in Interpals.com, one of the social networks where
we can exchange culture. She is from Kazakhstan and she is fluent in Russian. My life is totally changed when i met
her.
I was just an ordinary guy from Indonesia. My vision was very simple, graduate and work, i did not have any dreams
before but at least, i had won several chess competitions, so i decided to be a chess players and chess grandmaster.
After chatting for a few months, we agreed to meet in one country. The country will be neither Indonesia nor
Kazakhstan. We have thought about England before, but the living cost is extremely high there and we do not have
any relative there so we did not choose it. We thought about a country which uses English as the official language.
We were in silence about the options for a couple of months.
Two months later, i was called by my uncle who is living in Melbourne. He asked me a lot of questions, about my
thesis, chess, friends, parents and suddenly, i thought about Australia. I Immadiately asked him about a day in a life
in The city of Melbourne, diversity, food, beverage, and also abundant of the culture. He explained about job and
education in Australia, especially in Melbourne. I was very excited and impation to share with her those information
and we made some plans
First things first, i had to graduate from University of Brawijaya. My vision was increasing the crop of the field without
involving a lot of inorganic chemical reaction such as chemical pesticide and chemical fertilizer. Instead of that, i
would like to replace them with organic chemical reaction, such as biofertilizer, organic pesticide, and also use some
organisms which can optimize the yield. We could increase the yield with optimizing the nutrition of the plants. If the
plants contains abundant of immune, they can prevent the symptoms of the diseases both of virus or bacteria. The
are many ways to increase the immune of the plant, one of them is inducting Rhizobacteria. Rhizobacteria are root-
colonizing bacteria that form symbiotic relationship with many plants. The idea of My thesis was the respone of
Plutella xylostella when plant growth promoting rhizobacteria was applied in cabbage. All of my lecturers agreed
about my thesis.
I finished my thesis 6 months later then tried to apply a job. I applied in Tempo scan pasific as a supply replenish
process administration staff. I was accepted before i graduated from my University with GPA 3.4 of 4. At the same
time, Maria was graduated from a college and she works in a store. We talked each other that we need more money
for our needs, education and transportation to go to Australia. At that time, i was on probation and i needed to prove
to my boss that i am able to do a lot of tasks, so i could be an official staff. Maria tried to find another job in the taxi
company as an operator.
My work was related with drug disribution from the central warehouse into all branches of Tempo in Indonesia.
There are several companies that use Tempo as a distributor for their materials. Two of them are Roche and Unilever.
I am handling Roche and Unilever to distribute the materials into particular branch in Indonesia based on request of
each branch. If there is a request from a marketing departement of the branches, i responsible to make an allocation
from the central warehouse into a particular branch and if there is no stock in the central warehouse, i need to
reallocate the goods from one branch into another branch which needs that goods. Every branch have different
safety stock to keep safe of the urgent orders. There is something that should be minimalized, it is the cost of the
transportation. It made me thinking how to minimalize the cost of transportation, and how to predict the sales of
each branch including having a safety stock. I found out the data such as the forecast per branch of material, and 6
months sales per branch of material. It will minimalize the transporation cost because of the company will only once
for allocating materials per branch. I added the safety stock of the branches with the forecast and subtract it with
current stock. I gave that formula to my bosses and they were excited about it. I was suddenly promoted by bosses

as an offical staff 3 months later.
I was involved by my bosses and director with the project called DRP. DRP will count automitacally how many goods
will be allocated from central warehouse into brances. Before the system was made, all the member of the project
have thought the logic of the system. I had some issue about allocation. It was all about expiry date. Previously, the
user could not predict which expiry date will be allocated by branch. Some branches could sell the goods, some
branches could not sell them all. The impact was there are many goods which could not be sold because of it was in
expiry date. To solve that problem, i asked the logic that the nearest expiry date should be transfered into the
branches which could sell more. My boss added it into the program.
Althought i achived my goals and i have a job, i need more income to go to Australia especially experience that can
bring me into Australia with her. My uncle posted about vacation in Australia embassy and i was very excited to hear
about it. I am deeply interested with visa and administrative officer. Beside of i have an experience working on
administrative, i will be very happy if i have an experience of working on Australia embassy to become my path for
living in Australia.
