CNN NEWS REPORT

In Germany things are going terrible at the early 1940’s. According to the CNN we report the

harsh life in the ghettos and the concentration camp. The World War 2 started because

Germany had invaded Poland and then the Holocaust began. Holocaust started by Adolf

Hitler preferring master race which is the Germans and Aryan. Jewish, non-Aryan and others

were the targets. The Germans made a law called Nuremberg law, The Jews couldn’t have

any rights and jobs later on they had to wear a yellow star. This made it possible for Germans

to gather Jews. They also checked ID cards and schools.

The place where the Jews were gathered was the ghettos. There were small amount of

supplies for the Jewish people to survive, because German soldiers stole lot of it, many of

them starved to death. Ghetto is better to live then the concentration camp. At the

concentration camp there were only men and less food then the Ghetto. But they had to work

all day. It was a harsh condition for the Jews to work. When the Germany soldiers thought

the Jewish worker can’t work anymore they shot them in the head. During the Holocaust

young children was focused by the Germans because kids represents the future. The Germans

continued killing the children and they thought getting rid of all will end the Jews.

German officials and local collaborators deported Jews from Western Europe, such as Drancy

in France, Westerberg in the Netherlands, and Mechelen in Belgium. In 1942, the Germans

seized approximately 770 Norwegian Jews and deported them by boat and train to

Auschwitz. German used the train to kill the Jew more effectively. Between 1942 and 1943

the SS and police deported approximately 1,526,000 Jews by train. The Jews who were

deported mostly died. But some of the Jews flee to many places around the world, such as

Russia Federation, Italy and China… luckily they had a high chance of surviving.

Mr. Lurie is a holocaust survivor. He travels to tell his story of survival in the concentration

camps and his experiences with German soldiers during World War 2. Mr. Lurie said first the

government named all Jews a middle name to identify Jews and after that they gave numbers

to the Jews “All the Jews had each of individual numbers on their arm in the concentration

camp.” He wanted to help people learn about the Holocaust. In the concentration camp when

the Jews get they’re cloth dirty they wearied dead people’s clothes and dig down the ground

to bury Jews, if they refuses to do it then gets killed so mostly they didn’t fight back .

The Holocaust is a history that we shouldn’t forget and remember and what could have

happened if the Germans won the war? Adolf Hitler could have named as a hero in our

history book and killed all the Jews and. So it is important to remember what happened in the

past.
