This chapter presents the personal information of the respondents, farm profits, farm
model, the level of effectiveness of the process of Palayamanan project and the level of income
I. Personal Information
The personal information of the respondents included were: age, gender, civil status,
educational attainment, no. of children, tenurial status, no. of household members involved in

(31) (23.85 %), next between 60-69 year of age (30) (23.08). This indicates that the farmers in
the area are in 40’s, only limited young people engaged in farming because now a days young
generation do not like agriculture they would rather engaged in other aspect of profession.

Table 2 indicates that must of the farmers were male (74) or 56.92% of respondents and

Table 3 indicates that most of the farmers were married 98 or 75.38%, 14 or 10.77% of
farmers were widowed/widower, 11 or 8.46% of respondents were live-in and 7 or 5.38% were

Table 4 shows that most of the farmers were elementary graduate 63 or 48.46%, 55 or
42.31% were high school graduate and 12 or 9.23% were college graduate.
This implies that most of the farmers were just reach elementary and hard to look
employment.
