Morning Meeting Plan for the El Museo del Barrio Field Trip

Greeting: Say good morning in Spanish

Share: Have you ever been to a museum? What did you do there? What
was your favorite part? What did you learn? (Use this to fill in the ‘Know’
part of the KWL chart).

Activity: Discuss El Museo del Barrio and show students a picture of the
museum and of Tito Puente. Explain that we will go on a field trip there
to participate in a Tito Puente workshop. Ask students what they want to
learn about and fill in the ‘Want to know’ part of the KWL chart).

Message: Good morning, Pre-K! Today is ________. Have you ever been to
