AIRPORTS DON’T NEED

A BLANK CHECK TO TAX

AIR PASSENGERS
Air passengers are already heavily taxed. This year,
they’ll pay $6.7 BILLION in taxes supporting
U.S. airports, including a projected $3.6 BILLION
from a little-known tax called the Passenger Facility
Charge (PFC).

The PFC is currently

capped, limiting the
amount airports can tax
U.S
air passengers. Now . Ai

Airports across the country are generating record revenues, and airport modernization projects are already
well-funded. Airports don’t need more money, and Congress shouldn’t give airports a blank check to tax
passengers as much as they want.
