I. Introduction

1. Prayer
2. Checking of Attendance
3. Word for the day individual presentation
4. The teacher will present the students the specific learning outcomes:
a. Identify what is the topic and main idea
b. paraphrase a text using one’s own words
c. identify the techniques in summarizing different text
d. apply the techniques in summarizing information
e. summarize a variety of academic text

II. Motivation

Summary Game: *Summaries of different movies.


1. Ask the students to group themselves into four.
2. A representative of the group will get a piece of paper from the fishbowl and read it aloud.
3. He/ She must guess what movie it is based in its summary written on the paper for 30 seconds.
4. The group who got the highest score will be the winner.

III. Instruction/Delivery (LO1, LO2, LO3, LO4, and LO5)

1. Ask the students to give ideas about summary through Semantic Web.
