IMPORTANT

• To register for Prorata modules, students must complete the following two steps; prior to the registration
deadline.
1. Make the necessary payment
2. Submit duly filled registration form (online or manual) successfully

• No registrations will be allowed after the deadline.

• If you have any issue in registering, you must contact Academic Affairs by submitting your query using
inquiry button or by emailing support@sliit.useresponse.com before the registration deadline.

Late Registration Period Total Payment

15th January 2019 – 21st January 2019 (Fee + Rs.4000) + 2% NBT

22nd January 2019 – 28th January 2019 (Fee + 10% + Rs. 4000) + 2% NBT

Please register on time to avoid the late processing fee. No registrations will be allowed after 28th January 2019.

3. How to pay?

3.1 Payments should be made in cash in favour of

Note: Registration application forms are available at Reception Counter at Malabe Camps, Matara, Kandy,
Kurunegala,
Jaffna and 15th floor Academic Affairs at Metro Campus.

3.2 Payment of Partner University Fees

• These payments should be made to the Bank and the Bank draft issued for the total fee in the relevant
foreign currency should be submitted to the cashier and an official receipt be obtained.
• Please submit the duplicate of the receipt to the cashier counter addressed to the Academic Affairs
Division.

4.2 Students who are not registered on a regular basis during Jan-Jun 2019.

• Students should register on a prorate basis for outstanding subjects.

• Those who have obtained pass marks in CA in Validity Period will be allowed to use such marks under prorate
registration and attempt the end semester examination only.

• This requirement needs to be communicated to Senior Manager Academic Affairs (Registry) in writing.
• Others, will have to repeat the entire module under prorate registration.
Withdrawal of Registration
and obtaining Refunds No refund requests will be entertained after 4th March 2019

5. VERY IMPORTANT

• For applications to be accepted by the system, o All information sought should be provided.

(Do not leave blank spaces) o Full payment should be made and details be provided.

• Please consult Manager Academic Affairs immediately and essentially during the registration
period if you confront any problems in the registration process.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR PRO-RATA MODULE

PRO- RATA REGISTRATION GUIDE

• Check your CA mark
(To see if you have obtained enough marks to do only the final exam)

Register Pro-Rata final exam

Register for full modules
only (For those who do not have a valid CA.
However, students who have sufficient CA
(Subjected to you have sufficient
marks may still register If they wish to do so
CA marks within the validity
period)

• Refer to the Prorata fee table and make the payments

• Log in to http://study.sliit.lk/ Online semester registration to do the registration online

Please make sure to enter the correct e-mail address to the system. A verification mail will be sent)

• Following message will be appeared if the registration is successful

• An e-mail verification also will take place within a week after the successful registration

“Your application for pro-rata registration was accepted. E-mail verification

will be sent to you in due course once the payment has been verified.

Please check the eligibility list which will be published on course web two
weeks after pro-rata registration deadline and immediately contact
academic affairs division if your name doesn’t appear in the published
eligibility list”

Students are not allowed to sit for an examination if you do not have a valid
semester/ pro-rata registration. Final repeats are not allowed without a valid
semester/ pro-rata module registrations.
