This is the story of a physicist, Bill. Bill thought he had found a way to destroy mass.

Bill’s idea was to

heat up a pot of water. When you let the pot sit for long enough, the water all disappeared.

Bill, being a genius, claimed that he destroyed the water. Bill of course was wrong.

Bill submitted this work to a prestigious journal in a paper titled “Breaking Conversation of Mass: A
Liquid Water Study.” The editor called Bill for a meeting to discuss his submission. The editor took Bill
out on a walk so they could talk and brought to a narrow, dark alleyway. The editor pointed something
out to Bill in the distance. When Bill was distracted, the editor severed Bill’s head using a machete. Bill’s
stupidity was now gone.
