pecados
que Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat, había causado a Israel a cometer. "— 2 Reyes 15:9

¿Es consciente de patrones inusuales en su familia por generaciones? Patrones muy pronunciados
del mal pueden indicar la necesidad de sanación del árbol genealógico. Tal vez los más viejos hijos
de las tres últimas generaciones había intentado suicidarse, o un número excepcional de la mujer
en la familia se convirtió en enfermo mentales, las hijas más jóvenes durante tres generaciones
fueron infieles a sus maridos y alcohólicas.Por otro lado, tal vez las más viejas hijas durante cuatro
generaciones se convirtieron en misioneros, o 80% de los hombres en la familia durante seis
generaciones se convirtieron en líderes cristianos destacados. Estos patrones no son coincidencias.

HERENCIAS
"Porque yo, el Señor, tu Dios, soy un Dios celoso, infligiendo castigo por la iniquidad de sus padres
a los hijos de los que Me aborrecen, hasta la tercera y cuarta generación; pero otorgando
misericordia hasta la milésima generación, los hijos de los que Me aman y guardan mis
mandamientos."– Éxodo 20:5-6

Todos entendemos el concepto de un material inhertance. Después de morir las personas, a

menudo dejan dinero, bienes y posesiones a los miembros de su familia. También somos
conscientes de una herencia física.Los médicos siempre pedir los antecedentes familiares de un
paciente nuevo haciendo preguntas como: "Alguien en su familia alguna vez tuvo diabetes,
hipertensión arterial, accidente cerebrovascular, problemas cardíacos, etcetera?" Allí es también
una herencia espiritual. Nos podemos agradecer a Dios y nuestra familia para el beneficio de
nuestros antepasados virtuosos que se remonta a mil generaciones (ver Sir 44:10-12).También nos
vemos afectados por los pecados de los padres, abuelos y bisabuelos y por los pecados de los
antepasados afectados negativamente los.

HERENCIA Y LIBERTAD
"Solo aquel que peque morirá. El hijo no se le cobrará con la culpa de su padre, ni deberá el padre
cargará con la culpa de su hijo. Virtud del hombre virtuoso será maldad del suyo, como el malvado
hombre será suya."-Ezequiel 18:20

En material y herencias físicas, no ejercitamos nuestro libre albedrío. Nosotros heredamos $1,000
o diabetes si queremos o no. Pero nosotros podemos elegir libremente aceptar o no aceptar
nuestra herencia espiritual. Esta libertad es posible porque Jesús ha roto nuestra línea de sangre
por derramar su sangre en el Calvario. Podemos elegir por la fe a dar nuestras vidas a Jesús, nacer
de nuevo, entrar en la familia de Dios y heredan solamente el bien y nada de lo malo.

DOS ÁRBOLES
"Pero si somos hijos, somos también herederos: herederos de Dios, herederos con Cristo." —
Romanos 8:17

La forma principal de "sanación del árbol genealógico" es cambiar los árboles — el árbol de
nuestra familia en el árbol del Calvario (ver hechos 10:40). Para ello, participación en la muerte y
resurrección de Jesús a través del bautismo y viven por la fe en Jesús como Señor. "Esto significa
que si alguno está en Cristo, es una nueva creación. El viejo orden ha fallecido; ahora todo es
nuevo!" (2 Cor 5:17)

ARREPENTIMIENTO
"Ya no eres esclavo sino hijo! Y el hecho de que eres un hijo te hace un heredero, por diseño. de
Dios"-Gálatas 4:7

Incluso después de que nacemos otra vez (Jn 3:3, 5), cambiar nuestra herencia y se convierten en
herederos con Cristo, podemos pecar y así decide heredar los males de la vida vieja. Por lo tanto,
la forma principal para los cristianos comprometidos a sanar su árbol genealógico es
arrepintiéndose y confesando sus pecados.

FACTORES DESENCADENANTES
"Entonces en cólera el maestro lo entregó a los torturadores." — Mateo 18:34

Los médicos nos dicen que nacimos con muchas de las enfermedades que la superficie en nuestra
edad adulta. Estas enfermedades eran en estado latente durante años pero fueron accionadas por
la tensión extrema, problemas médicos o medicamentos. En accionar los malos aspectos de
nuestro patrimonio espiritual, pecados sexuales y pecados de falta de perdón sobre todo parecen
ser instrumental. Por lo tanto, en la curación del árbol de la familia de los cristianos
comprometidos, debemos centrarnos en arrepentimiento, de perdón y de la ruptura de la
vinculación sexual debido a las relaciones sexuales fuera del matrimonio (1 Cor 6:15-16). (Para

CURACIÓN Y UNTIMELY MUERTES

"Jesús tuvo además una participación completa en el nuestro, que por su muerte él podría robar el
diablo, el príncipe de la muerte, de su poder y sin los que por temor de la muerte habían sido
esclavos de su largo de toda la vida" — Hebreos 2:14-15

Even committed Christians who are repentant, sometimes need further healing for their family
trees. But often in healing the family tree, it is difficult to get past the symptoms and get to the
heart of the problem. Untimely deaths often are the key to getting to the heart of healing the
family tree. As we inherit our material heritage after a family member dies, we also inherit our
spiritual heritage through death. Happy deaths often open us to claim our good inheritance while
untimely deaths in our family history can open us to our bad inheritance. For example, when we
begin to minister healing of the family tree, we should ask about miscarriages. These babies
should be named and through prayer put into God's hands. We also should ask about sudden
deaths in the family history through suicide and/or abortion. And we should ask about deaths in
the family where circumstances were such that there was no funeral Mass, service, or burial, or
where circumstances prevented the family from attending the funeral. If we focus our ministry of
healing on these untimely deaths, we will often see great breakthroughs. We should also ask
members of the family if any of them have used birth control pills. The most commonly used pill
probably prevents conception only about 98% of the time. Thus, couples who used "the pill" may
not know how many children they have conceived. They should ask the Lord how many children
they have. If, after praying for a day, they think it is possible that they have aborted a baby
through "the pill," they should repent, name the child, apologize to the child, confess their sin, and
thank the Lord they are forgiven. This is also necessary for chemical abortions done in other ways
than by using "the pill." (See our pamphlets: Sexual Sin, Abortion, and 'The Pill', and Hope and

THE ULTIMATE FAMILY REUNION

"That is why I kneel before the Father from Whom every family in heaven and on earth takes its
name; and I pray." —Ephesians 3:14

We heal our family trees primarily by receiving a new nature through total commitment to Jesus.
Secondly, we heal our family trees by repentance and healing. But what if some family members
won't accept Jesus or won't repent? Our family trees can be significantly healed even if only a few
members of our families turn to Jesus. But for deeper healing we should pray daily for those family
members who aren't living for Jesus and share our faith with them as the Spirit directs us. (See our
pamphlet, Leading Your Loved Ones to Christ.) We need not be discouraged for "it is no part of
your heavenly Father's plan that a single one of these little ones shall ever come to grief " (Mt
18:14). The Father wants your family saved and healed so much that He sent His Son to die for
them (Jn 3:16). In a little while, the Lord is planning a family reunion in heaven. And, if He has His
way, not one of your family will be missing. Alleluia!
