When scheduled, I opened, closed and relieved coworkers for meals. I cared for children
between 2 and 12 years of age, prepared meals, cleaned and whatever else was needed. My work
included helping a two-year old boy who was born premature and has several developmental
issues.

Child Development Program Assistant, Child Development Center 2, MacDill AFB, June 2008
to January 31, 2012.
Planned and conducted an effective child development program to meet the physical,
social, emotional and intellectual needs of 6 to 12-month-old infants. Developed and
implemented daily schedules and activities plans also briefed lower-graded employees. Received
children from parents noting all special instructions provided. Used approved child guidance and
care giving techniques that support overall program objectives. As a result of my diligence and
attention to the children there have been no safety issues or complaints by the parents. Received
a time off award for superior performance and presented with a letter of appreciation by the base
Commander written by a parent that was a commissioned officer.

Owner/Operator, Clown Town Daycare and Preschool, Billings, MT, March 1997 – February
2008.
Established a home child care business with my mother that cared for children from 3
months to 12 years of age. Cared for approximately 130 children during the time the business
was open. Kept all state licenses current and passed all state inspections. Participated in the
Montana food program and complied with all mandated reporting requirements. Performed
billing and collections functions and kept financial records for tax reporting. Closed the business
to marry and move to Florida.

Child Care Associate, Pooh’s Playhouse, Billings, MT, May 1995 – February 1997.

Worked with various ages providing a safe and nurturing environment where they could
explore and develop physically, cognitively, socially and emotionally. Followed lesson plans and
daily activities as well as participated in parent conferences and other communications with
parents.

CERTIFICATIONS: State of California Child Development Site Supervisor Permit, 2014 and
Director Permit pending. CPR and First Aid training certifications, May 2017.

COMMUNITY: Volunteered child care services at New Beginnings Christian Church, Tampa,
Florida, in the nursery on assigned Sundays, 2008-2010. Also volunteer for Vacation Bible
School at our current church, Church of the Valley, when available.
