I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson the students are expected to:
a. Identify the different characters in Noli Me Tangere and composers of Noli Metangere
Opera;
b. Discuss with group the story of Noli Metangere .
II. SUBJECT MATTER
TOPIC: Philippine Opera
REFERENCE: Music and Arts pages:
MATERIALS: visual aids, picture, video clip and book
III. PROCEDURE
a. Preliminary

Greetings
Checking of attendance
b. Motivation
Reviewing of the topic
c. Presentation
Present the topic to the students.
d. Discussion
Group the class into four groups, and provide them a copy of Noli Me Tangere and let
them discuss with their groups the story of Noli Me Tangere and the Different
composers involve in the Opera Performance.
e. Application
Provide the students a manila paper and from their groups, they will select one
representative to explain what they have understand from the group discussion and
present in front their output.

2. Who is The Music arranger of Noli me Tangere?
3. Who portray the role of Sisa in Noli me Tangere opera?
4. From what bible verse did Rizal quoted the title of a novel Noli Me Tangere?
