7. DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES BASED ON ACTUAL

OBSERVATION (SHOW THE PROCESSES OF WORKS COMPLETELY
AND CLEARLY):

Tune up is a regular maintenance activity on motorbikes,

where this activity includes:

1) Check motorcycle parts to ensure parts

it is still functioning properly.

2) Clean the dirty part so that there is no dirt

damage the system.

3) Set the changing parts to match the specifications.

4) Repair / replace damaged / worn components.

Description of Motorcycle Tune Up

1) Machine Parts

a) Check and replace engine lubricating oil

Check the amount of engine lubricating oil through stickoli,

the amount / height of the oil surface must be between the boundary marks

upper and lower limit on stickoli.

Lubricating oil must be replaced if:

(1) Low / dilute viscosity / viscosity

(2) The amount of oil is less

(3) Oil color changes drastically / distance traveled is fulfilled.

Motorcycle engine lubricants have SAE 20W / 50

with API SE / SF. The amount of oil is 0.8 - 1.5 liter, depending on the
specifications

the motorbike. When disassembling or descending machines,

the amount of oil filled is added 20% of the number of changes

oil under normal conditions. For example, when changing oil

normal 0.8 ltr, when the engine oil falls down it is refilled 1 ltr.

b) Clean the air filter

There are two types of air filters used on bicycles

motor, namely: (1) Paper type air filter, and (2) Filter

foam / sponge type air.

(1) Paper type air filter

Dirty paper type air filters are simply cleaned,

 but if the filter element has been clogged then

the filter must be replaced. How to clean type air filters

paper is by using pressurized air,

spray compressed air in the opposite direction

the direction of the working air flow into the cylinder.

(2) Foam (sponge) type air filter

The sponge type air filter can be cleaned in a way

washed using cleaning fluid that is not easy

burned, then squeezed and dried (how to squeeze

should not be twisted, simply pressed on both palms

hands or in hand-held / tight-fisted, agar elements

air filter is not torn / damaged). After drying, the element

air filter soaked in lubricating oil later

c) Clean the fuel filter

A dirty fuel filter can be cleaned with

pressurized air, but if it has been clogged, the filter

fuel must be replaced. How to clean the filter material

contrary to the direction of fuel flow so that all

dirt is wasted out.

d) Check and adjust spark plugs

Remove the spark plug, then check the spark plug condition from:
 (1) Cracks of insulators, spark plugs with cracked / broken insulators

not suitable for use and must be replaced.

(2) Check the wear tip of the electrode, when the electrode ends

worn plugs must be replaced.

(3) Check the combustion conditions in the combustion chamber

by checking the color of the combustion results on the spark plug.

My advice is to further increase customer comfort. My message is because this

workshop already has a strategic place, so if it is supported by better management,
this workshop will increase the number of customers.
