3.    Applicable Codes

The buildings shall be designed in accordance with the specification of Indian Standards.

a)    Fabrication tolerance in accordance with IS 7215 – 1974 and Metal Building

Manufactures Association (MBMA)

b)   Welding process, Procedure and Qualification in accordance with applicable

requirements of structural welding code IS 819 - 1979, IS 1024 - 1979 and IS 1261 - 1959.

4.    Steel work finish

a)  One coat of Primer GSSPL scope.

b)    Supply and application of one coat of synthetic enamel paint at site, GSSPL scope.

c)    Only standard and straight colours like Smoke Grey - 692, Dark Grey - 632,

Oxford Blue - 105, Light Grey - 631 ( Asian Paint or equal make) shall only be used.

However, please note that GSSPL does not recommend use of mixing colours.

5.    Changes and Revisions

a) The below offered price is based on present ruling rates of raw materials and labour cost and should there
be any increase in raw material and labour cost during the tenure of job then we have every right to revise the
agreed price suitably.

b) Any change or revision to the above stated scope of supply may lead to a variation in the price and
delivery period. For any change on this, payment cannot be hold for work completed in the original contract.
6. Approval drawings
GSSPL will issue approval drawings within a minimum period of 10 working days from date of signing contract and
receipt of advance payment.

CLIENT must return the accepted approval drawings preferably within 1 week thereafter, otherwise, may result in
revision to delivery commitment.

7. Delivery period

GSSPLwill supply the material within 20 weeks from the latest date of receipt of the approval drawing from Client.

i) Installation of work will be completed within 12 weeks from the supply of materials.

ii) Signed supply contract / purchase order

iii) Balance payment as specified in supply contract.

iv) GSSPL’s approval drawings duly signed and approved

8. Assumptions Made For Installation:

i) Any product or service that is not clearly specified in this proposal

ii) Supply of Anchor Bolt will be GSSPL Scope.

iii) Casting of Anchor bolt will be Client Civil Contractor Scope.

iv) Leveling and Compacting of Floor / Ground shall be provided by Client Civil Contractor before start of Erection

v) Minimum 15 days curing time is to be given after Anchor Bolt Casting is done.

vi) Our offer excludes all civil work and necessary scaffolding

vii) Unloading of materials will be clients’ scope

viii) Electricity 3 phase supply and water to be provided free of cost at site during the erection of structure.

ix) Accommodation for erection labours to be provided by client.

x) Final contract amount will be as per actual work done.

xi) It is mandatory that Crane movement will be proposed inside building floor ( Plan Area ) while erecting the Primary
and Secondary Frames. (else variation in Installation Cost will be applicable)

xii) Periodic Supervision by Project Management Team and regular Updates of the Project Schedule Status will be
informed to Client by GSSPL PMC Department.

xiii) Force majeure clause will be applicable.

9. An Overview Of GSSPL PMC Department:

• PMC, which is our team of Project Management Consultant acts as a bridge between Project Departments and
Clients. The ERP software and the cutting edge technology makes our PMC work efficiently as a well- managed and
independent team.

• PMC provides approval to departments, immediately after client’s clearance of their process.
• The Main Aim of GSSPL PMC is to maintain Transparency with the Client by informing the Project Updates on a
Weekly Basis.

Note: Taxes are subjected to change as levied by the Government. If there is any change in Sales Tax, Excise

borne by the Buyer. Octroi / Entry Tax if any will be to your account.

Installation

20% Mobilization Advance (Against Unloading of Material)

40% Against Commencement of Structural Installation,

20% Against Completion of Structural Installation and Commencement of Roofing Sheet.

15% Against Completion of Roof Sheet and Commencement of the Side Cladding.

 STANDARD PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS Scope As per
A Standard System is Made Up of Primary Members, Secondary Yes No DWG

13 Fasteners, Sealer, Closures, Ridge caps, Flashings and Trim, Gutters
and downspouts.
A PRIMARY MEMBERS
Primary Structural framing shall include Top Chord , Bottom Chord ,
Diagonal Members & Connecting rod.

B SECONDARY MEMBERS
Secondary Structural Framing shall include the Purlins, Girts eave
struts, Wind bracing, Flange bracing, Cleats and other
miscellaneous structural parts.
C PAINT OF STRUCTURAL MEMBERS
All structural members shall be cleaned to remove dirt, grease, oil
and loose mill scale and given one shop coat of primer.

D CONNECTIONS
All field connections shall be bolted (Unless otherwise noted).
Primary bolted connections shall be furnished with high strength
bolts confirming to the physical specifications of ASTM A325 (or
equivalent).
Secondary bolted connections shall be furnished with machine bolts
confirm to the physical specifications of ASTM A307 (or equivalent).

E PHYSICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF STRUCTRAL MEMBERS

Members fabricated from Plate - flanges and webs joined on one
side of the web by a continues Submerged Arc Welding process
and will conform to the physical specifications having a minimum
yield strength of 345 Mpa.

- Members fabricated by cold forming process shall conform to the

physical specificationshaving a minimum yield strength of 345 Mpa.

- Members fabricated from hot rolled structural shapes shall

conform to the physical specifications having a minimum yield
strength of 250 Mpa.
- Rod and angle bracing shall conform to the physical
specifications having a minimum yield strength of 250 Mpa.

- Roof and wall cladding shall conform to the physical

specifications having a minimum yield strength of 550 Mpa.

F JSW ROOF SHEETING & CLADDING SHEETING
Roofing sheet are manufactured out of High strength steel grade
with tensile strength of 550 Mpa CCGL. The steel base is coated
with Zinc - Aluminium alloy AZ150 as per ASTM A792 with minimum
thickness of 0.47mm TCT.
Colour coated Galvalume sheets are used for wall cladding and
gable cladding. High Tensile strength of 550 Mpa, AZ 150 with
minimum thickness of 0.47mm TCT.
Roofing accessories like Barge Board, Ridge flashing, L Flashing,
are as per the above specifications.
G TATA BLUESCOPE ROOF SHEETING & CLADDING SHEETING
Roofing sheet are manufactured out of High strength steel grade
with tensile strength of 550 Mpa Bare Galvalume. The steel base is
coated with Zinc - Aluminium alloy AZ150 as per ASTM A792 with
minimum thickness of 0.47mm TCT.
Colour coated Galvalume sheets are used for wall cladding and
gable cladding. High Tensile strength of 550 Mpa, AZ 150 with
minimum thickness of 0.47mm TCT.
Roofing accessories like Barge Board, Ridge flashing, L Flashing, are
as per the above specifications.
H SHEETING FASTENERS
Standard fasteners shall be no. 14, Type A, self tapping sheet
metal screws with metal and neoprene washers. All screws shall
have hexagonal heads, and made of Zinc plated steel.
I FLASHING AND TRIM
Flashings and trim shall be furnished at the Gable Flashing
gable, corners, eaves framed openings and
wherever necessary to provide weather tightness
and finished appearance. Color shall be white Corner Flashing
unless otherwise specified by client from one of
GSSPL standard range of colors.
Wall Flashing

J EAVE GUTTERS AND DOWNSPOUTS

Eave gutters shall be box shaped, color coated 0.47mm nominal
thickness (26 gauge) galvanized steel. The outside face of the gutter
shall be supported with color coated 0.47 mm nominal thickness (26
gauge) profiled galvanized straps to the eave member at a
maximum spacing of 1.2m
Downspouts shall be rectangular shaped, colour coated 0.47
mm nominal thickness (26 gauge) galvanized steel Downspouts shall
have a 45 degree elbow at the bottom and shall be supported by
attachment to the wall.

K ANCHOR BOLTS
These are normally supplied prior to the delivery of structural
materials.
Delivery will be made after receipt of GSSPL's anchor bolts setting
plans (marked - For Construction) from our Engineering Department

14. Additional Client specification:

15.TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. VALIDITY PERIOD:
This quotation is valid for seven (7) days from the date of this proposal.

2. RELEASE FOR PRODUCTION:

That portion of this order that is not released for production within TWO months from the date of contract will be
subject to a price increase in accordance with the new current prices posted at the end of the above noted time
period.
3. SHIPMENT:
That portion of this order that is not shipped within six months from date of contract will be subject to a price
increase in accordance with new current prices posted at the end of the above noted time period unless a longer
delivery period is mutually agrees by GSSPL and CLIENT. ( Min 1% / Month On TCV)

4. FORCE MAJEURE:
GSSPL shall not be liable for any loss or damage to CUSTOMER for delay in delivery or cancellation of any
Purchaser's Orders by GSSPL due to circumstances beyond GSSPL's control, such as, but not limited to, war, riots, civil
commotion, revolution, government regulations, orders, or acts of any government authority directly or indirectly
interfering with or rendering more burdensome the production or delivery of the products, floods, fires, delays due to
transporter's strike and any other circumstance or event beyond GSSPL's control.

5 PERMITS:
GSSPL shall not be responsible or liable for the obtaining of permits to erect or install any product.
6.CANCELLATIONS:
BUYER CANNOT cancels orders without first reaching an Agreement in writing with SELLER covering all damages.

If cancellations is agreed by SELLER, BUYER agrees to pay all engineering and other expenses, Incurred by SELLER and
in any case not less than 5% of the agreement price ( Supply Value ) in case of cancellations.
7. OTHER EXCLUSIONS:
GSSPL SUPPLY Does not include any material or labour in connection with foundations, concrete, setting of
anchorbolts, grouting under columns or in recess around bottom of wall sheets, electrical installations, plumbing, Civil
finished painting, heating, masonry, interior finishing, partitions, glass and glazing or any item not shown in GSSPL
ApprovalDrawings, unless specifically mentioned in this Agreement.

8. WARRANTY:
GSSPL's products are warranted against failure due to defective material or workmanship for a period of TEN YEARS
after shipment.
9. EXCESS MATERIAL AT SITE:
Material supplied by GSSPL to site in excess of building requirements shall be the property of GSSPL and GSSPL
reserves the right to ship the same back to its works.
10. GOVERING LAWS:
This agreement shall be construed and enforced in accordance with and under the laws of the Government
ofIndia. Both parties agree that in case of any difference or dispute arising between the SELLER and the CUSTOMER
willbe resolved by mutual discussions and agreement. However, unresolved issues. If any, will be settled by arbitration
as per the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, and the venue of the arbitration will be Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
 16. SUPPLY CONTRACT AGREEMENT
