Problem:
A continuous beam has two spans, the left
span being 4 m long and the right span is 6m
long. The beam is retrained at the leftmost
support, hinged at the interior support, and a
roller at the rightmost support. The beam carries
a concentrated load of 40kN at the middle of
the 4m span and a uniform load of 5kN/m
throughout the 6m span.
a) Determine the moment supports?
b) Determine the all the vertical reactions.
Use Three-Moment, Moment Distribution and
Slope Deflection Method.

Problem:
Compute the horizontal reaction at point A
of the frame loaded as shown. EI of the columns
and beam are equal and neglect sidesway.
