Dear Sir,

Permission to Conduct an English Language Workshop for WANGI Member’s

Children.

With regards to the above matter, I, Joseph Pang Kok Bing, humbly request
permission to carry out our SPEAK! Workshop for WANGI Member’s Children.

2. This project is a partial fulfillment of the Sociology and Professionalism in

Education (SPP 4052) course assessment. It intends to give language services
to the above mentioned school students. By conducting this camp for the
students, we will be able to apply the theories we have learnt throughout our
study and at the same time the students will benefit to a great extent from our
activities.

3. The main aim of this camp is to promote fun and meaningful way of
learning the English language among students with the assistance of language
games. This workshop would enhance the children’s confidence in
communicating in English; enrich their vocabulary in the English language as well
as to clear any existing confusion of the English grammar. This language
workshop will be in line with the government’s agenda in increasing the
proficiency level of Malaysian students. It would certainly provide ample benefits
in learning and using the English language effectively.

4. Below are the details of the workshop:-

Date : Saturday, 16 October 2010.

Time : 8.00 am to 6.00pm.
Venue : To be confirmed
No. of Participants : 100 (ranging from Primary 4 to Primary 6
children)
Payment : RM 25.00 per child
5. As of above, we will be asking for a payment of RM 25.00 per child which
will cover the materials, prizes, food and stationeries.

4. I hereby attach the project proposal for the perusal. The proposal includes
in depth information and mechanics of the camp and we sincerely hope that it will
be approved.
