Evaluation criteria
 Attendance 10%
 Participation 10%
 Activities 30%
 Final text 50%

1. One of the most important things of this course is the practical contribution that it is
made from the debate and participation in class. That's why you cannot pass the
course without active participation.
2. If there is more than one activity, each will contribute equally to the weight they
represent on the note. For example, if there are 2 activities, each activity will
contribute 50% of the weight reserved for activities.
3. In each of the concepts, you must pass the threshold. If one of the thresholds is not
exceeded, the subject will be considered no-pass.
4. Only the examination mark can be improved. In case threshold for final test is not
exceeded, you can repeat the test (the second opportunity can be a test or an
activity, which will be decided and defined by the teacher together with student).
5. The test mark can also be improved by new test or activity, if having exceeded the
threshold in all concepts, the mark of the examination is not enough to pass the
course. (>5)

IMPORTANT
“Students are required to attend 80% of classes. Failing to do so without justified reason can
have important consequences in your final grade.

As with all courses taught at the UPF Barcelona School of Management, students who fail
the course during regular evaluation will be allowed ONE re-take of the
examination/evaluation. If the course is again failed after the re-take, students may have to
register again for the course the following year.

Plagiarism is to use of another’s work and to present it as one’s own without attributing the
sources in the correct way. All essays, reports or projects handed in by a student must be
original work completed by the student. By enrolling at a Barcelona School of Management
Master of Science and signing the “Honour Code,” students acknowledge that they
understand the Barcelona School of Management’s policy on plagiarism and certify that all
course assignments will be their own work, except where indicated by correct referencing.
Failing to do so may result in automatic expulsion from the program.”
