Lab Exercise 2 - MS Excel (Practice)

1. Type the following worksheets in Excel and do the necessary calculation by using the
right formulas in MS Excel.
Note: The calculation of overall marks is in 100% and is calculated by adding the test,
assignment, and final exam marks.

2. The Status is either PASS or FAIL, and it is based on the following table and the status
has to be automatically generated. Besides that, the color has to be shown either RED
or GREEN to portray the STATUS either FAIL/PASS.
3. Your task here is to fill in the marks randomly to the unfilled cells for all students in
CSC101 class. You are allowed to change all the marks combinations as you wish.
Please make sure all calculations, formulas and status are working fine automatically.
4. Hint: In order for you to generate the status PASS/FAIL, you need to use the IF
function and the conditional formatting (which on the top menu bar of MS Excel file),
format cell for all numbers and in 2 decimal points.
