Summary of Idea
1) Idea
Guideto is a platform which provides tourism companies with professional
guide services. The main purpose of Guideto is to make guider finding
process easy for tourism companies. We have started to operate as the
first professional guide center in Azerbaijan. Our loyalty to our values
such as "Professionalism" and "Honesty", brought us new well-known
tourism companies as partners in Azerbaijan. For now, Guideto is serving
in Azerbaijan. We are also planning to launch a new mobile application
that makes finding tourists and guiders easier.

2)Innovation
Before creating this platform, we were working as agent between tourists
and guiders. As we saw that there is demand for this service, we decided
to create a platform that will facilitate the process between tourism
companies and guides. By registering in Guideto, tourism companies will
be able to find guides easier than ever. In other words, after entering tour
details, Guideto’s automated system will allow tourism companies filter
guides by their language skills, location, gender, age, availability, etc.

3)Technology
to create our website mobile application, we are using following
technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Codeigniter, and React Native.

4)Target Market & Globalization

Considering that our business model is B2B, we target the


companies which organize tours to Baku and Azerbaijan’s other
sightseeing places. However, we are planning to add another
feature to Guideto which will connect tourist and guide in our
platform. Taking into account the cost of creating such platform
for beginning point, it will remain as a new market we can enter
in the future. Guideto will mainly target Azerbaijan, Georgia,
Macedonia, Montenegro, and Slovakia. One of our teammate,
Ilkin Guluzada, have been in Macedonia and Montenegro in
past 3 months and found some partner companies from there.
He also got the contacts of 10+ guiders which are locals of
those countries. In our second step, which is widening to
Europe countries, we will use these contacts to globalize.

5)Commercialization

As mentioned previously, we are planning to add a new feature


which will connect tourist and local guide in one platform. More
complex we start, more difficult it will be to launch our
platform. To minimize risk, after finishing work with our
website and application for both IOS and Android system, we
will start to serve our customers in local market. We have
already 2 partners that we provide with guiders: Globus and
Natali Travel. In Globus travel we have one agent that manages
the guider, tourist relationships. With Natali Travel, we newly
agreed and will start working with them at the beginning of
next month. Although we were not digitalized our company in
the past, we had some clients. The statistics showed below:
364 Tourists , 47 Guiders from only one company in 4 months.
