Configuring LAG Using MINI-LINK Craft

4 Configuration and Operations Tasks


To configure LAG parameters using MINI-LINK Craft, perform the tasks described in the
following sections.

Note:

The configuration can be performed either remotely or on site.

The following additional information is applicable when using MINI-LINK Craft:

 How to access the node using MINI-LINK Craft, see Accessing a Network
Element.
 How to navigate in MINI-LINK Craft, see MINI-LINK Craft User Guide.
 For a detailed description of the parameters on each MINI-LINK Craft page,

Figure 2 shows the workflow for configuring LAG using MINI-LINK Craft.

4.1 Adding a LAG

Note:
Make sure to check the switch ports before adding a LAG, see Section 2.4.

Before go to LAG configuration page, first create the RL-IME and assign switch port
to WAN’s.

1. In the Management Tree, expand Ethernet.


2. Right-click Ethernet Switch.
3. Click Configure and then click LAG. MINI-LINK Craft displays the LAG
Configuration page.

4. Click to add a new row.


5. In the Master Port column, click and select the port that should be the master
port. The master port carries the configuration for the LAG.
6. In the Member Ports column, click and select the ports that should be included.
The master port cannot be excluded from this group.
7. In the Hashing Algorithm column, select the wanted algorithm.
8. Click Save in the tool bar to apply changes.
9. In the LACP Mode column, click and select Active to enable LACP.
10. In the LACP Timeout column, click and select the length of LACP timeout.
11. In the LACP Activity column, click and select LACP activity.
12. In the LACP Admin Status column, click and select the status.
13. In the Extended Buffer column, enable or disable extended buffer.
14. Click Save in the tool bar to apply changes.
15. Under LACP General, set LACP System Priority.
16. Click Save in the tool bar to apply changes.
17. To view the performance and status of the LAG, click the LAG port under
Ethernet Switch in the Management Tree.
