1- Write brief explanation about the communication system from point of view
(i) Definition (ii) Types of it and the main difference between them
2- Write brief explanation about the modulation technique from point of view
(i) Definition (ii) why we need it? (iii) Their Types
3- Write brief explanation about the linear modulation (AM, DSB-SC, SSB-SC and
VSB-SC) from point of view
(i) Definition. (ii) Mathematical representation. representation of the modulating
signal, carrier signal and modulated signals in both time and frequency domains.
(iii) Bandwidth, Phaser diagram for modulated signals and Average transmitted
power.
(iv) Generation of the modulated signals (AM, DSB-SC, SSB-SC and VSB-SC).
(v) Detection (Demodulation) the message (modulating) signal out from the
modulated signals (AM, DSB-SC, SSB-SC and VSB-SC)
(vi) Effect of noise on linear modulation systems
(vii) Applications
4- Write brief explanation about the non- linear modulation (FM and PM) from point
of view
(i) Definition. (ii) Mathematical representation. representation of the modulating
signal, carrier signal and modulated signals in both time and frequency domains.
(iii) Bandwidth, Phaser diagram for modulated signals and Average transmitted
power.
(iv) Generation of the modulated signals (Narrow and wide FM and PM).
(v) Detection (Demodulation) the message (modulating) signal out from the
modulated signals (Narrow and wide FM and PM)
(vi) Relationship between Phase and Frequency Modulation
(vii) Effect of noise on non- linear modulation systems
(viii) Applications
(viiii) Comparison between the linear and non-linear modulation techniques.
5- Write brief explanation about the Multiplexing from point of view
(i) Definition. (ii) Types (iii) Advantages and disadvantages (iv) Applications

You must simulate all the above linear and nonlionear modulation techniques,
multiplexed/ Demultiplexed signals using Matlab with Simulink.
