What is FRM® Designation?
Management
The demand for financial risk managers is strong, especially for the next few years. Newer regulatory requirements coupled
with newer financial reporting standards are emphasizing improvement of companies’ management of financial risks. As the
world markets experienced the recent financial crisis and seeking solutions to manage financial risk, the FRM qualification
will serve you well should you seek to play a part of being in the latest emerging jobs in the banking and financial sectors.

The FRM qualification is conferred by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) (www.garp.com), which
is a not-for-profit independent trade association consisting of over 150,000 members, from 195 countries and territories.
Members are employed by commercial banks, central banks, investment banks, asset management firms, corporations,
government agencies, and academic institutions.

The FRM certification program is the international benchmark qualification for professional risk manager. Since its
inception in 1997, GARP has over 30,000 FRM holders across the globe.

Entry Requirement Student Success Scheme (SSS)


 Any Recognised Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent RM1300
(ACCA, CIMA, MICPA, AIA, ICSA etc.) OR Cash Rew ard if you succeded in the
follow ing:
 Attended more than 70% of Classes RM200
 Age 25 and above with Diploma; or equivalent.  Passed Progress Test #1 RM100
 Passed Progress Test #2 RM100
 Passed Progress Test #3 RM100
