MCCLURE BCTV NEWS- LONGLEAF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
2013 – 2015
As a fifth and sixth grader, my news team provided simple school
news such as birthdays, lunch menu, weather, teacher shout-outs,
upcoming plays, etc. News crew students arrived to school thirty
minutes earlier each day to record the news. The segment was
MADDYMCC@HOTMAIL.COM played later in the morning after all students reported to class.

TVN NEWS- JOHNSON MIDDLE SCHOOL

2015 – 2017
As a seventh-grader, I directed over half of our daily news shows and

every show my eighth-grade year. During first period, the only TVN
class period, our crew recorded the show to be aired in fifth period
(lunch). The show consisted of the lunch menu, weather, birthdays,

teacher notes, important school due dates, and Friday sports recap
(pro football and the school basketball games).

Our daily news shows are recorded the prior day, posted on the
VieraHighTV webpage and emailed to every teacher. I have directed
and anchored in many news shows and can run all control room and
studio equipment.

EDITORIAL LEADERSHIP- VIERA HIGH SCHOOL
2017 – Present
Editorial Leadership is an after school club which meets three times
a week for dedicated TV students who want to put extra time and
effort into TV Production. This club is completely independent from
school projects and requires extra time put in (two hours per week,
excludes meetings). Students work together to produce short films,
news stories, comedy skits, edits, etc. The club is currently working
to produce a weekly news show as our current news studio is
undergoing construction.
