A war can change everything and many incidents and stories become unsung. Just like that many stories of Liberation War of Bangladesh
remained unheard. Ashraf Shishir, who won national film award for his debut film 'Gariwala' brought those unsung stories to live through
his mid-length feature film 'Juddhota Chilo Swadhinotar'.

The director calls this movie as featurette where he brought back a true tale of Liberation War. Now this movie has been selected for
screening in three international film festivals in India.

The movie will be featured in Golden Triangle International Film Festival which will run from February 9-12 in Bhubaneswar then it will be
shown in Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival which will run till February 20 in Mumbai and later it will be showcased in International Film
Festival of MP which will be commenced from February 20 and will continue till February 22 in Indore. The film has already been in
several international film festivals.

The movie tells about an operation against the Pakistani Military during the 1971 Liberation War. When the military was retreating towards
Dhaka at the mid-December, 1971, the freedom fighters created a hard resistance against them with the collaboration of allied forces. The
Indian Air Force plane bombed the Hardinge Bridge and damaged one of its spans. Because of that, the Pakistani Military became
dispersed. This story was told through a fiction in the celluloid of 'Juddhota Chilo Swadhinotar'.

Regarding the film, Ashraf Shishir said, "I wanted to work on Bangladesh Liberation War for a long time. This is a story from my
birthplace so I thought this will be a perfect story for my film. I have plans to create more films on Bangabandhu and Liberation War."
