Important Information for Presenters
ORAL PRESENTATIONS
Oral presentation slots are 8 minutes including discussion. The preferred file format is
Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx). We encourage all authors to have a copy of their
presentation slides ready in a portable flash-drive and a copy saved in their E-mail/preferred
cloud drive. Please be present in the Central Server Room 15 minutes before the start of the
session to meet with the system administrator for uploading of presentation slides. Personal
laptops will not be allowed for presentations. Name your presentations as per the paper id
and presenters first name (e.g. TH-01-12-Akash).
Limit the number of slides to 10. Avoid flashy backgrounds, background graphics and
unnecessary animations. Time schedules are strictly followed and presenters are advised to
plan their presentations to fit into the time slots.
DIGITAL DISPLAYS
Digital displays are scheduled for break times during the conference. Display screens have
aspect ratio (Width : Height) of 4 : 3, fitted with USB ports and can display images or videos
only (ppts cannot be displayed). Presenters should prepare a maximum of 4 slides using
Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx) in Landscape Layout, preferably with aspect ratio of
4 : 3 and convert them to images (.JPG or .JPEG format only) and bring in a flash-drive.
Presenters should also bring their slides in PowerPoint format on safer side. Each presenter
can include one video (.MPEG format only), which must be brought as a separate file. Each
presentation will be allowed for 30 minutes display as per the schedule given. Presenter(s)
should be available next to the display screen during this time. Presentations will be evaluated
by judges for prizes during display time.
