Sharp Racing Report

Hello my dear sponsors, greetings from Sharp Racing Team. As you may know that our
team is one of the most talked ones in this field since it is a new team that has been doing
very good the last season in racing but not good enough in rallying due to suspension
failure, no wonder all credit goes to you. I kindly request you to lend me the same
support this year that you did last year to help the team catch more wind in the face.
Below I have listed the expenses that happened last year followed by this years tentative
expenditure.

2008

JKTyre NRC (RSC category)

Day 1
Round 1- 3rd fastest
Remarks: Running on Koni suspension. Wheel rim heavily damaged. It was
replaced with spare wheel. No problems identified with suspension at service area.

Round 2- Breakdown (suspension failure)

Remarks: A km from the finish line Front RHS Koni Broken, Drive shaft
broken due to intense and spirited driving. Damage was not repairable on site by Crew.
Later service team arrived and fixed a OE suspension and car was taken to Workshop to
re-fit spare Koni suspension and new drive shaft.
Day 2
Round 1- 3th fastest ( Spa
Remarks: At service area Front LHS suspension was found broken and
hence was replaced by OE suspension.

Round 2- 6th fastest

Remarks: Couldn’t drive faster as I did not have any more suspension to
spare with and the combination of OE with Koni in the front made the car’s handling go
out of balance.

Other Rallies that happened at Nashik, B’lore, Kolkatta, Shimla, etc were not
participated as the transportation costs were not affordable.

Plans for this season

Racing in all JKNRC races including ones happening at Chennai.
Rallying in Coimbatore and if study permits, shall participate in all south zone rallies
(INRC)
Closest event – Coimbatore rally ( June 26)
