SPEECH PROPER:
One of the highlights of the Fire Basic Recruit Course (FBRC) training is the Recognition Day
of the trainees. Some recruits consider it as more significant and memorable than graduation
ceremony because this event signals the start of painstaking struggles between privileges and
the responsibilities, between merits and demerits. This is the start where trainees are given
specific freedoms but subject to various limits and corresponding rules and regulations
observed here in the National Fire Training Institute (NFTI). Ito rin ay isang hudyat kung saan
binibigyan ng kaukulang pagsubok o test ang mga estudyanteng tulad niyo upang sukatin ang
lawak ng pagkakaintindi at disiplina ninyo bilang isang ganap na uniformed personnel at
pagwawaksi sa mundo ng pagiging sibilyan.

Sa mga tactical officers, you are expected to be a well-disciplined role model to the recruits or
students since you are the very first senior officers and personnel that responsible in mentoring
these new batch of fire fighters. Mula sa paggising sa umaga hanggang sa TAPS kayo ang una
at huling makikita at maririnig nila dito sa loob ng training center. Kaya naman, higit na malaki
ang hamon at responsibilidad sa inyo to molden these trainees as better, proper, and well
respected uniformed men.

Sa mga magulang at kaanak ng ating mga trainees lalo na yung mga andirito ngayon,
maraming salamat po. Higit sa kanino man kayo ang lubos na nagagalak sa natatamo ngayon
ng inyong mga anak. Isang tagumpay sila para sainyo dahil sa landas na kanilang pinili, and
propesyon na inaasahan para mas maging epektibo ang ating kampanya laban sa sunog at iba
pang sakuna.

This is just the beginning of your life as fire fighter. Recognition is point of recognizing your
hardships and persistence as great men, as developing trainees. Treasure this momentous
happening in your life here in NFTI. Pinaghirapan niyo ang sandaling ito kaya nararapat lang
ang isang makabuluhan na pagbati sa inyong lahat.
