Honduras is a country in Central America. It is slightly bigger than the U.S. state of

Tennessee. Honduras has three neighbors. They are Guatemala, Nicaragua and El

Salvador.

Honduras sits on the Caribbean Sea in the north. This coastline is very long. The

country touches the Pacific Ocean in the south.

Highlands cover the middle of the country. Lowlands are found near the coast.

Honduras has many mountains. Yet it has no volcanoes. It is the only country in

Central America without any.
