    Salseros is a Brisbane-based salsa ensemble who performs energetic Afro-Cuban


    dance music. On stage, Hong Kong-Australian percussionist Joe Chow teams with
    Uruguayan-born vocalist Adelina Martinez and Conservatorium-trained musicians to
    form a fiery nine-piece salsa ensemble. Their repertoire features South American
    classics, jazz standards, as well as pop songs rearranged into the salsa style. Hot off
    the heels from their successful premiere show in the Conservatorium Lounge Series,
    Salseros recently secured an artist residency with the Currumbin RSL and continues
    to make music that gets audiences dancing to the irresistible rhythm of salsa.

    Members of the ensemble all studied at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith
