The AUMUND Group

The AUMUND Group offers efficient solutions for conveying and storage of bulk materials. More than

AUMUND Fördertechnik GmbH

Since its creation in 1922, AUMUND has been supplying tailor-made
conveying and storage technology for the most varied of bulk
materials from its works in Rheinberg/Germany in the Lower
Rhineland. AUMUND is an international market leader in the cement,
lime and gypsum industry, in the iron, steel and aluminium industry,
power production technology, process technology, chemical and
fertiliser industry as well as in alternative fuels.

SCHADE Lagertechnik GmbH 

has been in existence since 1879 and is one of the leading global manufacturers of stacking and
reclaiming equipment for bulk materials stockyards and blending beds. The company is based in
Gelsenkirchen/Germany and has been a member of the AUMUND Group since 2001. SCHADE is
particularly experienced in the cement, iron and steel, aluminium, power and mining and minerals
industry as well as in ports and terminals.  

SAMSON Materials Handling Ltd.

has been well known as a specialist for mobile solutions for the
handling of bulk materials since the 1960s. The company is
based in Ely/UK and has been part of the AUMUND Group
since 2002. SAMSON (formerly B&W Mechanical Handling)
has gained a good reputation internationally, especially in ports
and terminals, but also in the cement, iron, steel, and
aluminium industries, in quarries and related processing as
well as in power plants and alternative fuels handling.

AUMUND Group Field Service GmbH

With the incorporation of AUMUND Group Field Service GmbH in April 2017, the AUMUND, SCHADE
and SAMSON companies amalgamated the customer on-site service functions which had until then
been organised and carried out separately. This merger has created a strong pool of personnel,
experts in supervising the assembly, commissioning and servicing of the Group’s range of specialised
equipment. It has also enabled stronger links to the customers’ site personnel. In addition, AUMUND
Group Field Service provides its services on a wider range of equipment also to other customers
outside the AUMUND Group.

AUMUND Logistic GmbH

is the logistics service provider of the AUMUND Group, and is also based in Rheinberg/Germany. It
looks after the international freight forwarding of machinery and components, not only for the
AUMUND Group but also for customers outside the Group. It is a specialist in sending large and
heavy cargoes all over the world, whether by truck, rail, air or sea freight.
