STANDARD STANDARD 1.2.1 Use and handle science apparatus and substances correctly.

PERFORMANCE 1 List the apparatus, science substances and specimens required for an activity.
LEVEL 2 Describe the use of apparatus, science substances and specimens required for an activity with the correct method.
TEACHING AND LEARNING ACTIVITIES
SET INDUCTION 1. Students will be asked how to do an investigation.
2.Students will discuss on the steps in doing investigation.

ACTIVITIES 1. Students will see pictures of apparatus and use of those apparatus.
2.Students will get to know the name and the use of those apparatus.
3.Students will be shown picture of a worm on slide .They will be asked what are the apparatus needed to observe a worm.
2. Students will be given pictures of apparatus. ( cooperation and cooperative )
3. They will need to discuss and circle the correct apparatus to observe a worm.
4..Answers will be shown on slide.They will be explained the importance of choosing the correct apparatus.
5 .Students will be given individual worksheet. ( pictures of apparatus and the use)
CLOSURE 1. Students will be asked to name few science apparatus.
