1. What would be it be like to work for an entrepreneurial firm?

Compare this to working for a

Fortune 500 firm. Give Examples from your own experience.

- Working for an entrepreneurial firm will require you to have a good communication skill and good in
marketing advertisement. You must also have the confident to talk to other people regarding on what
your business is. While being able to work to a Fortune 500 company, it could be viable option for
employment, and whether you are a new grad, or seasoned professional. For my own experience, I’ve
been on a entrepreneurial firm for 2 years and it goes well as I thought but it is really hard to make
your own money without clients, so you must seek and pursue them when you make an opening.

2. What are Schumpeter’s definitions of an entrepreneurial new venture? Give examples of

businesses you know that meet these criteria. How are these firms regarded in our society?

- Schumpeter’s definitions of an entrepreneurial new venture came from Joseph Alois Schumpeter, an
economist and one of the 20th century’s greatest intellectuals. He is best known for his 1942 book
“Capitalism, Socialism, and Democracy”. Those are some kind of businesses here in Philippines such
as Robinson’s, SM, etc. These are company which used to have a big capital money to start business in
other places.

3. What kind of uncertainty do you have in your life? Are these uncertainties comparable to them
more accessible to entrepreneurs?
