It is very essential to prepare a scientific “Disaster

Management Plan” in School level to reduce natural disaster. Because,
India is one of the most disaster prone country. Particularly, Assam is
now become the most vulnerable state. Flood, Earthquake, Burning,
Storm etc. are the most sensitive and dangerous natural disaster in
Assam. Hence, necessary remedial steps should be taken- before, during
and after disaster. Students should be given awareness regarding
disaster. So, to prepare a “Disaster Management Plan” is highly
essential for students and others to take safeguard.

Keeping the view of natural disaster’s effect we the authority

of <<School Name>> developed a frame work of disaster management
committee in school. We have also communicated all the respected
persons including S.P. Office, Golaghat,O.C. Office N.R.L, Police out
post , N.R.L, Golaghat fire Brigade, Morangi Circle Officer, Local
N.G.O, Students organizations, V.D.P, Students , Teachers for their
needful coordination with us to organize School Disaster Management
in future.
