Bachelors/Master’s degree in relevant disciplines i.e.

Business Studies, Social Science, Journalism,


Marketing, Public Relations or Communications

03 years of relevant experience

Excellent oral presentation skills and in-depth knowledge and experience in major donor priorities

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the talent to convert complex technical
information into accessible, clear messaging.

Excellent writing, analytical and communication skills

Fluency in Bangla and English required

Knowledge of standard software packages and the ability to learn organization specific software if
required.

Ability to be proactive and take initiatives and ability to multitask.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Internal and external communications in Country Directorate: prepare and edit correspondences,
communications, presentations and other documents

Support Country Director for managing important tasks/deadlines

Support to Country Director in different internal and external meetings

Manage/ record documents and information maintaining confidentiality

Develop talking points for internal/external meeting of Country Director

Prepare quality presentation and documents for Country Director

Arrange and co-ordinate meetings and events


File and retrieve photos, documents and reference materials

Conduct research, collect and analyze data to prepare reports, presentation and documents

Manage and maintain Country Directors’ schedules, appointments and travel, transport and
accommodation.

Record, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings

Monitor, screen, respond to and distribute incoming communications

Answer and manage incoming calls

Receive and interact with visitors

Support high profile visitors

Liaise with internal, external and overseas personnel

Maintain and update database of different donors, partners, stakeholders and media contacts.

Maintain good relations with different departments within the organization and uphold Practical
Action’s values.

Job Responsibilities
Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning

Producing long-term business plans

Undertaking research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance

Developing and managing financial systems/models

Carrying out business modelling and risk assessments

Liaising with different Scheduled Bank and Non-Bank Financial Institution.

Managing the departmental activities and assisting the CFO as per his desire.

To provide support to CFO on the day to day operation & activities of all financial and Banking related
information system.

Ensure proper recording for loan opening, settlement and bank interest.

Ensure Foreign Exchange gain loss calculation and recoding.

Assist to obtain financial data from several sources

Examine and analyze accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports to assess
accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

Any other job assign time to time by the management.


Attend to cash management, preparation of payment cheques, pay orders and prepare Bank
Reconciliation Reports;

Prepare vouchers for financial transactions with proper supporting documents

Receive and process petty cash payments, balance cash and prepare bank deposits; manage petty cash
fund and handle disbursement.

Prepare & maintain Receipts & Payment vouchers, Maintain Journal voucher, Cash Book, General
Ledger, Bank Book, Bill Register, Debtors & Creditors Ledger, Party registers related to finance &
accounts, Employees Register
