・Setting of the ground level

・Confirmation of supporting ground depth at the spread foundation (Vapi Station)
The changeable column height shall be within the range shown in “2 Applicable standard
structures”
When changing the column height, the tie(reinforcement) shall not be changed the range of
2D (D is column dimension) from the upper/lower ends of the column. In the long pitch
section of the middle part, the pitch shall be same as the design drawings and the number of
tie(reinforcement) shall be reduced.

1.3.3. Change of column spacing (Longitudinal direction)

From the perspective of securing the passenger staircase and ESC overhead clearance, the
column spacing (longitudinal direction) shall be expand as needed.
The changeable standard design / range of the column spacing shall be according to
“2 Applicable standard structures” When changing the column spacing (longitudinal
direction), the column position shall be moved as shown in Figure 3.1

1.3.4. Change of pile length (Bilimora and Bharuch Station)

If the ultimate bearing capacity of the pile obtained by the loading test of the actual
piles is lower than the value of the ultimate bearing capacity assumed by the design
calculation, the pile length shall be extended.
The pile length shall be secured a length that can secure the ultimate bearing capacity
assumed by the design. Furthermore, when extending the pile length from the
Standard Design drawings, the following points shall be noted.
・ The diameter of the longitudinal reinforcement, the pitch, and the fixing part
to the foundation from the standard drawing shall not be changed.
・ As for the length of the longitudinal reinforcement, it shall be extended by the
same length as the pile length that extends the pile tip.
・ The diameter of tie(reinforcement) and pitch shall not be changed from the
design drawings.
・ The total number of tie(reinforcement) shall be increased according to the
amount of the pile extension.

1.3.5. Change of floor attachment depth of spread foundation (Vapi Station)

The ground(φ=35° or more basalt)shall be excavated until the supporting ground
appears, and the foundation shall be attached to the supporting ground. The upper
limit value of the column height of the rigid frame viaduct that is prepared by the
Standard Design drawings are 17m. When the bottom of the foundation cannot be
setting on the support layer, replacement concrete shall be placed between the bottom
of the foundation and the support layer.

1.3.6. Change of floor slab within the scope of installation of the instrument room
The slab reinforcement diagram shall be applied to the instrument room on the slab
track.

1.3.7. Adjustment of opening dimensions due to type determination of escalator

and lift
The opening dimensions of ESC and lift in the design drawing are set with the
maximum values shown in “7.1.10 Dimensions of staircase, escalator, and lift”. The
opening dimensions shall be reduced according to the types of the escalator and the
lift to be installed.
The longitudinal / transverse beams placed around the opening shall not be changed
from the design drawings. The cantilever slab shall be set to reduce the dimensions of
openings. The reinforcement bars placing on cantilever slab shall be matched with the
diameter and pitch of the reinforcement bars of the slab around the opening.
