kindly request you to have below programming details confirmed onboard before pressing SSAS
alert button.

Programming Requirements for Thrane & Thrane TT-3000SSA terminal:

1. The address to route the SSAS alerts via StratumFive is "satc@stratumfive.net". This is
the only email id required to be programmed in this terminal. If required, optionally,
company’s email id can be programmed for receiving SSAS security alert messages
directly from this Sat-C terminal. This can be used for administrative/backup purpose.
2. LES should be selected as Xantic (AOR-West 012, AOR-East 112, POR 212, IOR 312)
with Special Access Code as 28
3. SSAS ALERT words should be present in the security message
4. SSAS:S5006 code should be present in the security message (vessel details such as
MMSI, Call Sign, IMO, CSO details will be taken from the StratumFive web interface. So
not required to be programmed/ mentioned in the terminal locally. But the code
SSAS:S5006 is a must for StratumFive server to parse the security alert message
generated from this model of Sat-C terminal.)

Reception of Security Alert message:

Once the Security Alert button is pressed onboard, the security alert message will be received by
the recipient whose email id and mobile numbers are programmed in the StratumFive web
interface.
The alert button will only need to be pressed for 3 - 5 seconds to initiate the alarm.

Please note usually, the recipients are receiving 3 alert notifications after pressing the Alert button
onboard.
The reason for 3 alert notifications received is to allow for redundancy, this is just in-case the
some of the alert are not received by StratumFive servers.

Reset of Security Alert message:

To reset a SatC SSAS, the crew will need to reset the terminal locally and confirm, then in the
web interface click the reset link to request the SatC report to reset the status in the interface. For
this to work the SatC will require the DNID to be downloaded and configured correctly.
