Upcoming Events
It is March is Reading Month, and we have a lot of upcoming events and activities taking place. The
theme for this year’s March is Reading Month is Reading Around the World. A family Reading Tornado Drills:
Packet has been sent home. Please read through it carefully and hang up the calendar. Try to  Friday, March 1st @ 9:20 a.m.
implement the activities recommended on the calendar. Also, don’t forget to mark your calendars for
the Family Reading Night. Our classroom goal for the month is to read 250 books! Fill out the forms Alice Drill:

Students will continue writing their last names when signing in and learning how to pronounce their
last names. Please continue to work with your child at home on how to correctly pronounce his/her
last name. Also, at home encourage your child to learn his/her home address and to memorize it. March is Reading Month Assembly:

Students have been writing the numbers 16 – 18 on the message board and have been stating the March is Reading Month Family Night:

We will continue to implement our new writing program called Writer’s Workshop while continuing 6:30 p.m.

Right now students are learning how to sound out and stretch out words in order to write down the 7:45 p.m.

Spirit Days:
