It is now March! Spring is just around the corner and we couldn’t be more excited.

½ Day of School Upcoming Events


It is March is Reading Month, and we have a lot of upcoming events and activities taking place. The
March: theme for this year’s March is Reading Month is Reading Around the World. A family Reading Tornado Drills:
 Thursday, March 21st Packet has been sent home. Please read through it carefully and hang up the calendar. Try to  Friday, March 1st @ 9:20 a.m.
 Wednesday, March 27th implement the activities recommended on the calendar. Also, don’t forget to mark your calendars for
the Family Reading Night. Our classroom goal for the month is to read 250 books! Fill out the forms Alice Drill:

Students have been writing the numbers 16 – 18 on the message board and have been stating the March is Reading Month Family Night:

 Monday, April 1 st Right now students are learning how to sound out and stretch out words in order to write down the 7:45 p.m.
 Tuesday, April 2nd letters that they hear to form words. Also, we are teaching them to spell the best that they can and
move on. Encourage your child to do these strategies at home, too!
