Safety & Work Preparation
 Comply with work permit to work system and all relevant safety precautions..
 Coordinate with operations shift supervisor, control room, etc.
 Inform the control room before starting any activity.
 All personnel should use gloves, over glass and ear plugs.

Precautions to be taken before sampling:

- Make sure that the bottle used is recommended by the laboratory that will analyze the sample.
- Write on the bottle (machine name, oil type, temperature and date).
- Ensure that all the tools used (vacuum pump, hoses, etc.) are clean.
- Well clean places where you can take the oil sample.
- Do not pull the sample of oil if the air loaded with dust.

- Open the bottle cover and keep it clean.

Work Completion & Restart-up

 Ensure that the work permit is signed off and record the job In Oracle to keep history of the assets.
